Edward C. Grubbs, 98, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Grubbs is preceded in death by her parents, 1 sibling, and her husband, William James Grubbs Sr. and her grandson, Will Grubbs III.

Mrs. Grubbs was born, November 22, 1917 in Montgomery, Alabama, and was a long time resident of Mathews, Alabama. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, and was a long time member of the Woodland United Methodist Church, of which she was one of the Original Charter Members. 

Survivors include: sons; William James Grubbs Jr. (Jane), James Edward Grubbs (Judy) and Robert William Grubbs (Goldie) and Jennifer Grubbs, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in Montgomery, Alabama at Leak Memory Chapel at 1:30pm. on Saturday, January 30th. With a Graveside Service at Greenwood Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Pallbearers are: Jason Grubbs, Britt Grubbs, Forest Grubbs, Chase Grubbs, Parker James Brightwell and Trenton Brooks.
