Edward Nolen "Pal" Lewis Jr., 88, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008. 

Nolen was born April 30, 1920, in Florala, Ala., to Edward and Minnie Knott Lewis. He retired from General Dynamics after 35 years. Nolen was a very humble man who loved his family. 

Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Margaret A. Lewis; sons, Ed Lewis and wife, Sherri, and Frank Lewis; grandchildren, Eliot Lewis and wife, Trisha, Erin Sanchez and husband, Izzy, NolenLewis, Ian Lewis, Skyler Lewis and wife, Danielle, and Alex Lewis; and great-grandchildren, Anthony Arevalo, Joshua Lewis, Jacob Sanchez, Tristan Lewis and Isabella Lewis.
