Clement Tranum "C. T. " Fitzpatrick, III (1914-2002) - Class Of 1930

Clement Tranum "C. T." Fitzpatrick, III was born to Clement Tranum Fitzpatrick, II and Caroline Goodwin Lamar in Montgomery, Alabama, on February 14, 1914.  His sister was Jean Lamar Fitzpatrick (Mason), Lanier Class of 1924. 

C. T. attended Sidney Lanier High School, and the Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama.  After that he enrolled in the American Institute of Laundering in Joliet, Illinois, and later became owner and president of Empire Rouse Cleaners in Montgomery, Alabama.

Among his many activities and services, C. T. was a deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Director of the Rotary Club, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Montgomery Country Club, and a member of the Society of Pioneers in Montgomery, Alabama.

C. T. married Caroline Goodwin Lamar, and they had two sons:

Clement Tranum Fitzpatrick, IV, Lanier Class of 1956
L. D. Rouse Fitzpatrick, Lanier Class of 1962

Martha passed away in 1984, and C. T. married Ann Harrell (Copeland), Lanier Class of 1946.

C. T. passed away on April 17, 2002.
