Born October 19, 1906,  John Henry Goff was the son of John W. Goff and Gertrude Brackin, and the grandson of Simeon W. Brackin and Almeida Jane Windham.  He was the brother of Mary Lou Goff who married Richard M. Ramsey, a teacher of Mathematics at Lanier from 1928 - 1950.  Henry's first cousin was John Sim Roth, Lanier class of 1932.

Henry married Corra Mae Thompson, and they had two children:

Mary Louise Goff (Ussery), Lanier class of 1958

Johnny Goff, Lanier class of 1967

Henry passed away in February of 1982 at age 76.
