Robert E. Bray, 68, of Rogersville, Alabama, born July 25, 1933, expired July 27, 2001.

Mr. Bray was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and worked for the Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Division for the majority of his career until retiring in 1989. He was Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop, #374 from 1974-1977.

Mr. Bray is survived by his wife, Royce Riggs Bray; three sons: Robert E. Bray, Jr. of East Limestone; Jeffrey L. Bray of Melbourne, FL; and David G. Shearer of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Catherine A. Shearer of Huntsville, AL; mother, Edna A. Bray of Montgomery, AL; two brothers: Donald L. Bray of Hendersonville, TN and James O. Bray of Carrierer, MS; six grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, July 29, 2001, at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama on Monday, July 30, 2001, at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Family Cares.
