My mother, Margaret, loved Sidney Lanier High School. She moved to Oklahoma before she could complete High school at SLHS. She returned for one year and then had to move back to Oklahoma to care for her grandmother. She often spoke of the gentle pride, beautiful landscaping and love for literature exemplified by the school from the patron and on. She is sorely missed and deeply loved.
