Brenda Brown (Caffey) (1956-2012) - Class Of 1976

CAFFEY, Mrs. Brenda A. Brown, 56, a resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life suddenly on June 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. from E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Garrett officiating. Interment will be held at Springhill AME Zion Church Cemetery, Prattville, AL with E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Brenda was raised in Montgomery and was a graduate of Lanier High School. She was employed at Exxon Mobile for more than twenty years as a manager and was presently employed as a manager for Pacecar Stores Inc. Brenda was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Caffey, Sr.; her sister, Lillie Hall, and her father, Willie Arthur Caldwell. Brenda loved listening to music, singing and shopping. Her relatives, as well as friends, have many fond memories of her fun loving spirit. Brenda's memories are cherished by her devoted mother, Annie Lee Brown, whom she affectionately called "Yo-Yo"; two nephews, Thomas Harris, Montgomery, AL and Wilbert Hall, Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Trent Wilson, Montgomery, AL; step-brother, Arzell Donaldson, Montgomery, AL; one aunt, Dorothy Stoudemire, Newark, N.J.; three uncles, Leon Stoudemire, William Stoudemire and John Caldwell all of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by loving first cousins, LeCheryl Cillie, Montgomery, AL; Donna Daniel, Decatur, GA; Tiffany Jointer, Birmingham, AL; Nicole Stoudemire Hughes, Dunwoody, GA; Darryl Stoudemire and June Stoudemire, Newark, N.J.; very devoted cousins, Vivian Peavy, Julius Smith, Shirley A. Cole, and Kathlene Hoskins all of Montgomery and Barbara McGhee, Louisville, KY; a very close and special friend, Eunice Pruitt; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family hour will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6:00 - to 7:00 p.m from E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
