Douglas Perry Cobb (1958-2016) - Class Of 1976

Douglas Perry Cobb (58) passed away on December 31, 2016. He is predeceased by his father, James Perry Cobb, his nephew, Austin Perry Cobb, and his sister-in-law, Judy McBryde Cobb.

Doug was born on March 9, 1958, and was a native and resident of Montgomery, AL. An Eagle Scout, he attended Auburn University where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and remained a War Eagle fan. He was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church. Doug was an employee of Bailey Brothers Music Company for sixteen and a half years where he served as the Service and Installation Manager.

Doug is survived by his mother, Joyce Brown Cobb; his brother, David Brackin Cobb; his nephew, Samuel David Cobb (Joanie) Destin, Fl, and his great-nephew, Brackin Cobb and great-niece, Maddox Cobb.

Visitation will be at Leak Memory on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 1:00 pm op 2:00 pm

A celebration of his life will be conducted by Rev. Carolyn Nelson at Leak Memory Chapel on January 8, 2017, at 2:00 pm with burial following the service at Tri-Community Cemetery, Millbrook, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Randy Summerlin, Andy Erickson, Edward L. Godbold, Jr., William H Dennis, Jr., Charles S. Cobb, Jr., and Rev. Cade Farris.
