Wallace Screws Pitts, Jr. was the son of Wallace Screws Pitts, Sr. and Frances Baldwin Simpson Pitts.  Born on July 4, 1923, he was an alumni of Marion Military Institute and served in the European Theater of Operations in the United States Army during WWII as a Lieutenant.

Wallace married Edith Gloria Goodson, Lanier class of 1944, in September of 1946, and were the parents of two children:

Emily Ann Pitts, Lanier class of 1968

Wallace passed away at age 42 on August 7, 1965 in Montgomery, Alabama.
