Joyce Grant Dieckman, 85, a Montgomery resident, went home to Heaven to live with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 23, 2014.
Born March 9, 1929, she was a very special lady who had a sweet spirit and heart of gold. She enjoyed being with family and friends, telling stories/jokes, painting, drawing, and sewing/knitting. She was always fun to be around and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her parents, John H. Grant, Jr. and Pauline B. Grant, her husband, Edward H. Dieckman, and a brother, John H. Grant, III.
She is survived by Sister-in-Law, Katrina Grant; Nephews Milton (Sharan) Grant, Mike (Gina) Grant, David (Cindy) Grant, Charles (Jennie) Grant; Brothers-in-Law; Sisters-in-Law; Cousins; Step Daughter and numerous nephews, nieces and friends that she loved so dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Leak Memory Chapel from 9-11 am, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 am, with Dr. Rick Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, or you may make a contribution in Joyce's memory to Eastern Hills Baptist Church to further the Glory of Christ.
