Harold Leon Hall, born January 26, 1928, was called home to Jesus, his Lord, and Savior on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, and attended Sidney Lanier High School. Harold served in the United States Navy for two years before marrying Wanda Adams in 1948.
After working for White Dairy, Harold took a sales position with US Pipe and Foundry in Birmingham which later became Sloss Industries. He was an avid hobbyist, an antique dealer and possessed an amazing talent and love for wood crafting. He was a member of the Alabama Woodworkers Guild and the American Association of Wood Turners. Harold and Wanda were actively involved in Liberty Church Birmingham for over 40 years.
Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Wanda Adams; his parents, Harvey Luther Hall and Alcie Mae Wilson Hall; his son-in-law, Jason Davis; his brother, Edwin Lister Hall; his sister, Francis Hall Bennett (James); his nephew, Gregory Robert Bennett and a niece, Joni Bennett.
Harold is survived by his children, Linda Clouse (Barry), Susan DeJohn (Mike), Kathi Davis, and Harold "Buff" Hall, Jr. (Donna), 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, a niece, Debra Bennett Clem, and many other great-nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 22nd from 11 am until 12 noon at Liberty Church Birmingham, 2732 Old Rocky Ridge Road, Birmingham, AL 35216 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon with Pastor Bruce Terry officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Ministries of Liberty Church.
