Gary Phillip Perry, Sr., 77, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2018. He was born on February 29, 1940, to Causton and Orene Perry. Mr. Perry attended Lanier High School and retired from Albany International, formerly Appleton Wire.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Smith Perry; sons, Phillip (Dawn) Perry of Montgomery and Brian (Kimberly) Perry of Brandenburg, Kentucky; daughter, Starr Parker of Montgomery. Grandchildren, Caitlin Perry and Preston Perry of Montgomery; Garrett Perry, Josie Perry, and Anna Perry of Brandenburg, Kentucky; and Wes Parker, Chris Parker, and Kayla Parker of Montgomery.
Mr. Perry is also survived by three great-grandchildren and his sister, Betty Cotey of Bull Head City, Arizona, as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.
A memorial service will be held January 12, 2018, at 11 AM at Leak Memory Chapel with a visitation at 10 AM. The graveside will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
