Jane Windham "Wendy" Duggar, age 63, a native and life long resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was called to her Savior on March 19, 2016.
Wendy was a faithful member of Providence Presbyterian Church, where she was christened. Her greatest joys in life centered on her faith in Jesus Christ. She loved gospel music, making a joyful noise to the Lord, and cooking and caring for her family, friends, and the needy.
At the time of her death, she was a loving and devoted caretaker to her mother, Jane Claire Windham Duggar Chesnutt, of Montgomery, who she is survived by. She also cared for her grandmother, Ethel Hornady Windham Watts, of Hope Hull, Alabama, who predeceased her.
She is also predeceased by her father, Llewellyn Haynes Duggar, of Hope Hull. Wendy is survived by two sisters; Martha Duggar Shamp of Auburn, Alabama, and Elizabeth Duggar Love Archibald of Mobile, Alabama. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces, nephews, great nephews and a great niece.
A graveside service will be held for her at 11:00 a.m. On Wednesday, March 23 at Greenwood Cemetary, White Chapel directing. The service will be officiated by Pastor Aaron Fleming, with pastor Vincent Rosato also sharing a part.
A celebration of her life and luncheon will be hosted immediately afterward at Providence Presbyterian Church in Legrande, Alabama.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church.
Wendy's family would like to thank the congregation for their outpouring of prayers, love and support during this difficult time, as well as her cousin Jack Hornady for sharing his experience and strength in these matters, and the staff of White Chapel funeral home for their gracious help.
