Dexter Isham (1950-2017) - Class Of 1969

Charlie Dexter Isham, age 66, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Dexter was born November 1, 1950, in Pascagoula, Mississippi to the late Ruth Partridge Isham and Charlie D. Isham.

Dexter is survived by his wife, Barbara Donald Isham. Children Paul Isham, Kerri Slover and her husband Eddie, Jerry Entrekin and his wife Mary and Jamie Entrekin. Brother Arthur Isham and his wife Virginia. Grandchildren Tyler Isham, Logan Isham, J.P. Miller, Lex Smelley and his wife Heather, Nicole Spencer, Soleil Slover, Kayla McDonald, and her husband Blake, Bradley, Colby, Christina and Bailey. Great grandchildren Brayden McDonald, Reagan Smelley, and Zoey Smelley.

Dexter Served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. A member of Mobile Ham Radio Operators Club, also a member of The Guy T. Smith Masonic Lodge #883. Dexter also volunteered as a driver for the Shriners Hospital transporting sick children and their families to hospitals in Texas and Louisiana. Dexter was a member of First Baptist Tillmans Corner.

A visitation for Dexter will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 12:00 PM, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
