GIBBS, Joseph Oscar,"Joe" 65, a resident of Elmore, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 2:00 pm at the Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Sasser officiating, interment will follow at Davis Annex Cemetery. Mr. Gibbs was a devoted husband, Daddy, and Pop who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father; Homer Gibbs, and his mother; Ruth Little. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Mary Jo Gibbs, One son, Kevin Gibbs (Wanda), two daughters; Kim (Steve) Tucker, Kelly (Keith) Johnson, four grandchildren Tylon Gibbs, Drew and Ansley Tucker and Kyle Johnson; his sister, Barbara Jean Smith and numerous other relatives and many friends. Joe was the owner and operator of Capitol Bearing in Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends at Brookside Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
