James Duke Paterson, 41, a resident of Montgomery died February 6, 1986, after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 1986, at 10 a.m. from St. John's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Albert D. Perkins III and the Reverend Kenneth L. Fields officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Prattville, with Leak-Memory Chapel directing.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Pratt Paterson; two children, Charlotte Radford Paterson, and Daniel Pratt Paterson; his mother, Dorothy Moore Paterson-three sisters, Judith Paterson, Jane Paterson Cope, and Joan Elizabeth Paterson.

Pallbearers will be G. William Hitchcock, John Michael Jenkins, Charles Paterson Jones, Duke Paterson Cope, George Edward VonGal III, Robert Houston Young Jr., William James Mahoney III, and Linton Warren Moseley.
