John "Jack" D. Colquett (1926-2013) - Class Of 1944

John D., Jr. "Jack" Colquett, 86, of Montgomery, Alabama, died Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 52 years Margie Whitaker Colquett.

Jack was a veteran of WWII in the United States Navy. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served in various positions for over 65 years.

Survivors include, his wife,Vivian Page Colquett; children, Cindy Colquett Helling (Winston, Sr.), Linda Colquett Anderson (Nathan), Joseph Colquett (Christi), Bryan Page (Lori) and Sharon Page Hayes (Russell); grandchildren, Adrienne Helling Torrealba (Dennis), Winston Helling, Jr. (Christine), Ian, Lauren, Stefan, Skylar, Nicholas and Caleb Helling, Erin and Taylor Anderson, Darby and Claire Colquett, Jared, Matthew and Seth Page, Ashlyn Page Eddy (Nick), Tiffany Hayes Stradley (Jared) and Christine Hayes; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23 from 5-7 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 770 S Court St at 11 AM with visitation from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
