Marvin L. Ellis, Jr., of Montgomery, AL, passed away on April 13, 2017, at the age of 92. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McGehee; and brother, Richard Allen Ellis.

Marvin is survived by his three sons, Marvin L Ellis, III (Claudia), Gary L. Ellis (Danette), and Andrew L. Ellis; 7 Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in the Sanctuary. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Brian Miller officiating.

Pallbearers for Mr. Ellis to include Rick Wade, Rick Ellis, Marty Ellis, Vashon Bridgewaters, John Andrew Ellis, Mark Ellis, Jeremy Ellis, and Wayne Nero.

Honorary Pallbearers: Pathfinders Sunday School Class.
