Dorothy McDade Pilgreen, age 90, a resident of Montgomery, AL, born February 19, 1922 in Montgomery, AL died Tuesday January 15, 2013.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ellis Murry Pilgreen. She was a longtime member of Frazer Memorial UMC.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21 at 12 Noon with visitation one hour prior at Leak Memory Funeral Home with Rhon Carleton officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Pep and Kay Pilgreen and one daughter and son-in-law, Jannett and Tommy Weldon of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Ellis Pilgreen, Elizabeth (John) Mazyck, Kris (George) Conner, Kelly Weldon, all of Montgomery, Ginny (Jeff) Langham of Wetumpka and Sam (Shannon) Weldon of Greenville, SC; and eight great-grand children. Pallbearers will be George Conner, Ellis Pilgreen, Sam Weldon, Jeff Langham, Jacob Conner, Andrew Conner, Daniel Conner, and John Mazyck.

The family wishes to thank the employees of Angels for the Elderly and Wetumpka Health and Rehabilitation for all of the kindness and generosity over the past years.
