Fairlie Marks (Odell) (1939-2011) - Class Of 1956

ODELL, Fairlie Marks, age 71, a native of Montgomery, AL, and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. She was a member of The Alabama Watercolor Society, a stewardess for Delta, and a direct descendant of President John Tyler, also General James Fairlie of the Revolutionary War. Mrs. Odell is survived by her 2 sons, Kevin (Dianna) Odell of Claxton, GA, Buddy (Sharon) Odell of Spanish Fort, AL, 2 sisters, Jeanne (Steve) Swingenstein of Pittsburgh, PA, Joan Thorington of Fairhope, AL,3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Scott Odell, and her four legged friends, Genny and Abby. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 5:00 pm, from the Chapel of Wolfe- Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Private interment services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to The Haven 559 S. Section St. Fairhope, AL 36532, or to First United Methodist Church 155 S. Section St. Fairhope, AL 36532.
