Rebecca Joy Pugh 1973-2014
Sister Joy Pugh was overtaken by cancer that was found only a few weeks ago and breathed her last breath. She passed away Friday, August 15 [2014].
The visitation was Monday, August 18 at 6 p.m. and the funeral was at 7 p.m. at the Eastern Meadows Building with the burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery.
She was survived by her husband Brian, sons, Spencer and Colton, and nephews Daniel and David Moore and brother Chris English. We will all miss Joy.
Joy found it easy to smile and laugh. She was humble and appreciated everything done for her and her family over the past few weeks. Joy loved the holidays, decorating for each major holiday. She enjoyed music. But first, she was a wife and mother. She did not work outside the home after Spencer was born. She did not hesitate to make room in her home for Daniel and David after their mother and Joy’s sister, Laura died.
Let us continue to pray for Brian, Spencer, Colton, Daniel, David, and Chris.
