Mr. Allan Pirtle passed away September 18, 2011. The family will receive friends at Leak-Memory Chapel on Tuesday, September 20 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 at Leak-Memory Chapel with Rabbi Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Allen was beloved by his family and friends. He was a talented musician and a founding member of the Carver Creative Performing Arts program and then continued his studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a member of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years and played with the Mobile and Pensacola symphonies respectively. He enjoyed passing his love of music to the many students he was involved with. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contribution to the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra or the Youth programs of Temple Beth Or. Mr. Pirtle was preceded in death by his father; Ronald Allen Pirtle Sr. Survivors include his mother and step-father; Walt and Peggy Jones, sister and brother-in-law; Stephanie and John Paul Jones, nieces; Magen Cramer (Jeremy), Noel Warren, Ashleigh Fail, Grace Jones and Christina Brantley (Micah), numerous cousins and best friend Leslie Capp. Leak-Memory Chapel Directing www.leak-mc.com
