Nell H. Sherman, 91, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Christmas Day 2013. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 2:00pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home with Martel Pace and Randy Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Mrs. Sherman was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillimon and Annie Kate Harris; seven brothers and sisters; and loving husband, Thomas F. Sherman, Jr. She is survived by three sons, Tom (Bonnie) Sherman, Mike (Ann) Sherman, Tim (Daphne) Sherman; grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Sherman, Tracy (Dick) Surdykowski, Christina (Mike) Rhodes, Michael (Elyse) Sherman, Alicia German, Alanda (Billy) Fulton; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Sherman, Dick Surdykowski, Richard Surdykowski, Mike Rhodes, Joe Brinkley and Bob Gross. Donations can be made to the Montgomery Humane Society or the University Church of Christ Benevolence Fund in memory of Nell H. Sherman.
