Edwin Travis "Ted" Parker, 88, passed away November 28, 2014.
Born January 12, 1926 in Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1944.
Afterwards serving in WWII with the 10th Armored Division, he earned two battle stars.
After graduating from Auburn in 1951, he worked with Bond & Bond and Tiller, Butner, & Rosa architectural firms and as Deputy Director of Civil Engineers at Maxwell AFB until retiring in 1999. He enjoyed drumming with Community Bands and the St. Andrew's Pipe Band. Another interest was Genealogy.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha Jess Hattemer Parker; sons, Edwin Travis Parker, Jr. (Sue) & Henry Ligon Parker, and sister, Sarah Frances Parker Bruer.
