Evetta Louise London (1959-2013) - Class Of 1977

London, Ms. Evetta L., 54, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away Wednesday morning, September 25, 2013 at a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen London-Childres, father, James Douglas Sr. and step-father, Henry L. Childres, Sr.

She is survived by five sisters, Rosetta L. Singleton, Cheryl L. Anderson, Ethel London, Marie Childres and Lisa Neal; four brothers, Robert J. London, Sr., Willie J. London, Sr., Henry L. Childres, Jr. and Nathaniel Childres, Sr.; one aunt, Leslie W. Johnson; one uncle, Elijah London and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor C.B. Croskery officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Directing.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
