Dewey C. Worthington, age 59, of Montgomery, AL, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Along with fighting for his life, he lived life to the fullest.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery. No visitation is planned.

Mr. Worthington was preceded in death by his father, Dewey C. Worthington, Sr.; and step-father, Thomas M. Weaver.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Janis Carter Worthington; mother, Mary Durden Weaver; daughter, Lauren Worthington (Mike) Hitt; son, Michael Shane Worthington; three granddaughters; sister, Teresa Worthington; brothers, David Worthington, Tom (Trish) Weaver, Bill (Sherry) Weaver, Robert Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
