Bobby Joe Taylor, age 77, of Glenwood, Alabama passed away suddenly on Monday, July 1, 2024.
Born in Boise, Idaho, on April 25th, 1947, Bobby moved with his parents to Montgomery in 1950. He graduated High School from Sidney Lanier and joined the Army as a young private. He was medically discharged two years later.
Mr. Taylor was an avid race car enthusiast who shared this passion with his wife, Nancy Taylor. After closing B. Taylor's Performance, they both went on to work for a classic car collector. Bobby retired from the business world but always maintained his love of cars. He and Nancy retired to their country home in Pike County, where they resided until his passing.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Joseph, and Viva Oliver Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Taylor; son, Michael Taylor; and one brother-in-law, Steve Grubbs and his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified at that time.
