Graduated Auburn University 1971, married Joan Louise Zimmer in 1972 a graduate of Montgomery Catholic High and Auburn University.
We have 4 grandchildren so far; Jane Wyatt Plumlee born 2008 and Rex Victor Plumlee born 2012 by John and Emily, Harrison Claire Plumlee born 2014 and Ann Mathews Plumlee born 2017 by Ryan and Sarah. We are truly an Auburn family with sons and daughter-in-laws AU grads also. Kind of strange since both my parents were Bama grads.

I was employed by the Caterpillar dealer in Alabama from 1980 until retired 8/1/2020. We currently split our time between homes in Montgomery and Lake Martin.

I came across the website today, 11/11/14, and decided to join so I could see what some of my old friends are up to. Sad to see some of my classmates that have passed away. Even though I only attended Lanier my Jr. And Sr. years I have some great memories. We really enjoyed the "glory days" since Jeff Davis High School opened the year after we graduated and that started the diffusion of the great Lee/Lanier rivalry. Recently there is talk about closing our beloved and historic Sidney Lanier High School that is now over 100 years old.
