Cindy (Burdell) Alford passed away on Thursday, January 4th. Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Leland and Bonnie Burdell, two sisters Shirley Jones and Elaine Golden, four brothers Ray Abernathy, J.L. Burdell, Richard Burdell, and James Burdell.

Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband, Larry Alford, her three sons, Wesley (Katie) of Taft, Tennessee, Dr. David (Sherry) of Madison, Alabama, and Lee (Keri) of Montgomery, Alabama. She has eight grandchildren, Anne Elise, Eli, and Daniel of Taft, Tennessee; Ethan, Anna Kate and Luke of Madison, Alabama; Braxton and Braden of Montgomery, Alabama. One sister Sara Jones of Montgomery, Alabama, one brother Carroll (Linda) Burdell of Theodore, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12th from 6:00pm-8:00 pm at Leak Memory Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 13 at 10:00 am at the University Church of Christ on the Atlanta Highway. Randy Medlin, minister of the University Church of Christ will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Braxton Alford, Braden Alford, Ethan Alford, Jeffery Jones, Blake Burdell and Keith Golden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eli Alford, Luke Alford, Daniel Alford and the men of the University Church of Christ.
