Mr. Willard Arthur Smith, 68, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Gassett Funeral Home, with John MacLaren officiating. Burial will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Smith; children, Christopher H. Smith and Kelly S. (Heath) Herring; mother Pauline Ashe Smith; sister, Judy S. (John) MacLaren; and grandchild, Brock Herring. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard A. Smith, Sr.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Gassett Funeral Home.
