WILSON, Homer Ray: 80, a resi­dent of Montgomery, AL, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Baptist Medical Center East.  Ray Wilson was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Carole Berryman Wilson, one sister Doris Wilson Graham (Dot), and his brother Wayne Wilson.  He is survived by his son & daughter in-law Mr. & Mrs. W. Foster Hays III (Chip & Kay), granddaughter Tana Carole Hays and great grandson Forrest Hays Burt, as well as his sister Nell Bryant.  Ray played and coached pro­fessional baseball from the time he graduated from Sidney Lanier High School until he re­tired and worked in the truck­ing business. A graveside serv­ice will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Greenwood Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to the service at Southern Memorial Funeral Home.
