SMILIE, Eva Nell Hassey.  My beloved Mother passed away October 7, 2009 at age 67, while recovering from co­lon surgery. A graduate of Sidney Lanier H.S.  Best re­membered for her business endeavors in North Mont­gomery - Hickory Pit Cafe' and Smilies' Tavern. Eva spent the last 10 years of life residing in Sulligent, AL at Discovery Assisted Living Facility. She is survived by Daughter, Wilma Walker (James) of Orlando, FL. Grandsons: SPC Raymond Bullock, U.S. Army, SPC Garrett Bullock Army Reserves. Her sister: Martha Ann Martin, brothers: William W. Hassey (Glenda), Henry H. Hassey. Many nieces and nephews.
