George V. Kenmore Jr. passed on April 21, 2021, in Birmingham, Alabama. George was born in the infirmary on the campus of Auburn University on April 20, 1947. He attended Sidney Lanier High School and the University of Alabama. He spent a large portion of his life in sales at Jack Ingram Motors where he made many good friends through the years.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. George and June Kenmore, and brother Clarke Kenmore. He is survived by a son, Christopher Kenmore, a brother Craig (Janice), and a niece Paige.
George loved his family and friends. He enjoyed sports both as a participant and a spectator. He also trained and raised Gordon possibly one of the smartest Labrador Retrievers ever to roam the streets of Montgomery. His love for dogs was passed down by his dad a long-time veterinarian in Montgomery.
A private family service will be held for George.
The family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army or to the Montgomery Humane Society.
