Duncan Parker Liles, III (1947-2014) - Class Of 1965

Duncan Parker Liles, III (age 67) passed on to be with his heavenly father on December 28, 2014. He was born on November 19, 1947 in Russellville, Alabama to Margaret Lee Bradford Liles and the late Duncan Parker Liles, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of forty one years, Terri Brabner Liles, his mother Margaret Lee Bradford Liles, his three sons, Duncan Parker Liles IV (Ginger), George Brabner Liles (Jennifer), and Bradford Bowen Liles.

Duncan was blessed with five loving grandchildren, William, Penney, Turner, Parks, and Lucy. He was also survived by his three siblings Peggy Liles Knight, Lee Bradford Liles, Molly Liles Carter (John).

Duncan grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Darlington High School in Rome, Georgia in 1966. He went on to graduate from Auburn University, where he was member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Duncan had a strong faith in his savior Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Christ Church in Montgomery, Alabama.

Duncan worked diligently at Liles Construction Company for over fifty years. He was a long time member of the Montgomery Lions Club, and he served many years on the Jimmy Hitchcock committee. He loved playing golf, spending time in the country, and vacationing at Lake Martin. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by many.

There will be a family graveside service on Wednesday followed by visitation at 12:00 and a memorial service at 1:00 at Christchurch 8800 Vaughn Road.
