Melinda Truett Jackson Fogle, died in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, December 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. James Truett Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael E. Fogle, Jr., Atlanta, GA; daughter, Mary Courtney Payne Fowler and grandson, Larkin Mason Fowler IV, of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Marcia Jackson Belcher and Madeline Jackson (Don) Taylor, of Montgomery, AL, and Marty Jackson (Dick) Frame, of Macon, GA and their families. She was the daughter of Dr. Truett Jackson, granddaughter of Dr. B.F. Jackson, Sr. and niece of Dr. Frank Jackson, founders of Jackson Hospital and Clinic. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to All Saints Episcopal Church of Atlanta, GA. An Episcopal private family graveside service will be held Sunday.
