Michael Heninger passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Rosa Beach, FL on April 23, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born in New Orleans, LA, August 15, 1947.

Mr. Heninger graduated from the University of Alabama in 1970. After graduation, he founded and operated Bama Supply Co, Inc. of Montgomery, AL and did so until selling the company in 1998. He is currently the owner of Professional Management of Alabama with offices in Montgomery, AL and Birmingham, AL. Mr. Heninger served on the Board of Directors of the Boys Club of America, Standardized Sanitation Systems, Inc, Alabama State Fair and Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club. He also worked with the United Way, South Alabama State Fair and Kiwanis Club while living in Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben R. Heninger. Survivors include his wife Judy, son Jay (Carrie) Heninger, granddaughters, Jules and Mary Heninger all of Enterprise, AL, mother, Eileen Heninger, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, sister, Susan (Laurens) Cotten, Birmingham, AL, and brother, John (Cathy) Heninger, Boone, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26th at Christ The King Episcopal Church, Santa Rosa Beach, FL with Father Frank Cooper presiding followed by a celebration of his life at Santa Rosa Beach Golf and Beach Club from 2:30 until 4:30.

Please no flowers but donations in honor of Mr. Heninger can be made to Emerald Coast Oncology Center building fund in care of Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Thomas Johnson, his staff, and all of the wonderful nurses at Sacred Heart Hospital.
