Terry Hendrix, an Alabama native and long time resident of Montgomery, finally bit the dust on November 27, 2016 at age 70.
Terry was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, two sisters and one brother. He is survived by three brothers - Jimmie Hendrix, Crestview, FL; Larry Hendrix, Palestine, TX; and Gary Hendrix, Crawfordville, FL - several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and a few great great nephews and nieces.
After graduating from Sidney Lanier in Montgomery, Terry served two years in the Army; a year of which was in Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division. After service, Terry worked and attended Computer Programming School. He then worked for 5 years at Paragon Press.
In 1974, Terry went to work with B.A.S.S. Anglers Sportsman Society. After 32 years of service, he was laid off and at 62 retired.
Terry spent his retirement years mostly visiting Players Sport Pub where he worked the daily crossword puzzle, talked with friends and acquaintances, watched sports on TV and drank a few cold ones.
He will be missed.
