James Dwight Clark (July 9, 1946 - May 16, 2015) of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 68. Dwight was an Asbury United Methodist Church member and a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
Dwight was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Alabama and graduated with a BS in Business Administration in 1968. In 2011, he retired as Corporate Credit Manager at Consolidated Pipe and Supply. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball and woodworking. He was an avid Alabama fan.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Clark; two sons, James Todd Clark and Mathew Tyler Clark (Terah); a daughter, Stacy Clark Heller (Paul); two grandchildren, Annabel Rose Heller and Brylie Harper Clark; several close relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 10 to 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Greg Foust officiating. The interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
