Judy Elizabeth Duncan (Rittenour) (1944-2017) - Class Of 1963

Judy Elizabeth (Duncan) Rittenour, age 72, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at her home in Montgomery, Alabama, September 27, 2017. Judy was preceded in death by her father and mother Willie Carold and Mary Frances Duncan; husband Charlie Rittenour; and brother Billy Duncan.

Judy is survived by her daughters Elizabeth H. Staten (Tony), Amy Leigh Ingram (Robbie), Carol Ann Matthews (Jay), and Irmy Fonville (Dennis); and 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other beloved extended families.

Judy worked for Alfa Insurance Company for 21 years as a District Supervisor. She was an integral part of the process to incorporate the Town of Pike Road and served on the first Town Council from 1997-2000. Judy was a charter member of Pike Road Lions Club and served as Mayor of the Town of Pike Road from 2000-2004. She was an active member of Vaughn Park Church of Christ.

Family and friends will celebrate Judy's life at Leak Memory Chapel with a visitation held on Saturday, September 30 from 4-6 PM followed by a celebration of life service at 2 PM on Sunday, October 1.
