Andrew Victor Santangini - Class Of 1962

Andrew Victor Santangini, Jr., 81, of Old Town, Florida, passed away on November 23, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1944, in Greenville, Mississippi, to the late Florence and Andrew Santangini, Sr. Affectionately known by many as "Sip" or "Sippy," he made his home in Dixie County for more than 35 years and was cherished by countless friends and neighbors.

Mr. Santangini was a United States Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Andrew V. Santangini Commercial Real Estate Appraisals in Gainesville, Florida, for over 45 years. A respected professional in his field, he was a longtime MIA Member of the Appraisers Institute and was known for his dedication, integrity, and expertise. In his spare time, Mr. Santangini was an avid hunter and fisherman, passions that brought him great joy throughout his life. He even became a certified boat captain, spending many days on the water doing what he loved most.

Mr. Santangini is survived by his wife, Susan Pettus; his daughters, Laura Creed (Skipper) and Elizabeth Bolin (Jay); his grandchildren, Ben and Sam; his brother, John Santangini (Barbara); and other extended family members.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Santangini will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Old Town Memorial Cemetery in Old Town, with Tom Griffiths officiating.
