Lost her battle with cancer.

Judy D. Persons, 61, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Sunday, February 9, 2003 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. from Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating   Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  Survivors include her husband, John R. Persons;  sons, John T. Persons and David F. Persons;  three grandchildren, John R. Persons, II, Stephen M. Persons, and Emily Mikayla Persons;  cousin, Jean F. Mitchell;  and aunt, Margaret F. Hall.  Pallbearers will be Ricky Morgan, Joe Croley, Pete Cottle, Jimmy Denney, Mark Brooks, and Pat Johnson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth J. Talley and Jon Oliver.  Memorial contributions may be made to the McGehee Road Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Leak-Memory Chapel Directing.
