COMPTON, William Watson "Billy", 64, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16th from 2-3 pm at Southern Me­morial.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow at Downing Bird Ranch.  He was preceded in death by his par­ents, Jule & Bill Compton.  Sur­vivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Jackie Compton;  daughters, Kelli (Morgan) Bell & Julie (Paul) Gordon; grandchildren, Coleman Bell and Paxton & Mary Jack Gor­don and sister, Susan Kathryn Kolander.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contri­butions be made to Hospice of Montgomery or to Chil­dren's Harbor.
