Albert Samuel "Butch" Kraus, Jr. died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leone Kraus Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Jo; his son, Bert Kraus (Bonnie); his daughter, Casey Boswell (Brent); three granddaughters, Emily Poundstone, Ella Kraus, and Madison Roussell; two nieces, Beth Anne McCormick and Jill Palmer and a nephew, Justin Palmer. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Butch was an all round good guy. We enjoyed many moments together watching our sons play baseball. It was good to have known Butch. God rest his soul.
I also had the pleasure of working with Butch's mother at Sears in 1966, as I did with Buddy Morgan's mother. They were both delightful ladies and great co-workers.
