Lillian Joyce Livingston (Smith) (1941-2014) - Class Of 1959

Lillian Joyce Smith, 72, of Monroe, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the home of her son.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside Saturday, April 26, 2014 1:00PM in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama.

She was born July 14, 1941 in Montgomery, AL, a daughter of the late William Kyle and Lily Mae Livingston, Sr. she relocated to North Carolina in 2011. Lillian enjoyed following the activities of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Nanny and Little Nanny. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Dawn Franklin, a brother, David Daniel Livingston, and a sister, Beverly Alice Livingston.

Lillian is survived by two sons; James Warren Crowder and his wife Linda of Monroe, NC, Donald Craig Johnson and his wife Debbie of West Palm Beach, FL; a daughter, Cynthia Kay Crowder of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Johnson of West Palm Beach, FL, Jessica Williams of Prattville, AL, Shawn Erickson of Mobile, AL, Justin Erickson of Mobile, AL, Dustin Crowder of Monroe, NC, April Quick of Indian Trail, NC, and Thomas Quick of Gaylord, MI; thirteen Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two brothers, William Kyle Livingston, Jr., John Anthony Livingston of Wichita, KS, and a sister, Shirley Ann Botts of Montgomery, AL.

Lillian was a devoted and die hard Auburn fan which she would say to all Alabama fans, "War Eagle!"
