My sister, Nell, passed away December 14, 2011. Her date of birth was July 16, 1939. She graduated from Sidney Lanier in 1957.

She did not want an obit notice nor a funeral.  Her daughter and I tried to oblige her wishes.  She wanted to be cremated with her ashes scattered over Lake Martin.  She loved to water ski, travel abroad and shoot pool.  She  had one child, Paige, and divorced after 22 years of marriage.  She received three degrees from Auburn University, taught at Scott Academy (now Scott-Lee, I think), finally went to work for Auburn University and retired from there at 56 years of age.
