Frances Windham Grace was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Thomas and Mineola Grace on 15 March 1938. She died in a car accident in Missouri while attending college on 11 October 1957. She is buried beside her parents in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama. She was an excellent pianist and loved music and the glee club. She was also a member of the Dexter Avenue Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
