James Monnier Simon (1917-1980) - Class Of 1936

Mr. James Monnier Simon, 63, a resident of 3667 Fernway Drive, Montgomery, Alabama, died December 10, 1980, in a local hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Syble Simon, Montgomery; one son James M Simon, Jr., Leesburg, Virginia; one daughter, Nancy R. Simon, Montgomery; two brothers, Harry Simon Jr., Montgomery, Joseph Simon, Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Doster, Clara Johnson, both of Demopolis, Alabama; one grandson, James Woods Simon, Leesburg, Virginia.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 12, 1980, at 10 a.m. with the Reverend John Vickers and the Reverend Lamar Brown officiating. Leak-Memory Chapel directing.

Active pallbearers will be William S Eley, Jesse Gorrie, Guy Vickers, Kenneth Campbell, Jack Seaborn, Jesse Harper, James C. Gates, and Howard White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey G. Smith and Charles L. Witherington.

Memorial Donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
