Mrs.Word was one fine lady and my friend. Between her and Ms. Newton they taught me a lot about life in general.

Mrs. Word helped me get my first job which was at Winn Dixie. I stayed there 12 years. She also gave me my only ever office referral, but that was my fault, she even felt guility about that. I have fond memories of her.

Ms Word saved my life! I owe all my accomplishments to this wonderful, beloved
teacher. She on the other hand, would say I did it. But without her taking me under her wing and let me stay in DECA, even though I had to change jobs to a sort of secretarial type, I don't think I would have accomplished all I did as an adult! I think about her all the time and give her the recognition she most certainly deserves.
