Sarah Jane Marsh (Jones) (1960)

In 1958- 1960, I had algebra and trigonometry with Miss Gorrie. I loved her and her teaching. I always liked math, but she made it interesting and exciting. I remember finding out that she went to continuing education classes in math during the summers and I was impressed that she was keeping up with the latest and still learning.  Because of her great teaching and example and my family support,  I ended up getting an electrical engineering degree at Auburn University (2 girls vice 2000 boys) in 1960s.  She was an example of an inspiring teacher.
