BLEVINS, Mary Warr, a long time resident of Montgomery, AL died Sunday, February 19th, 2006. Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Jay Wolf officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the graveside. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George Jackson Blevins and 2 sisters, Eva Warr and Cary Sue Fowler Lawson, and 5 brothers, Loyce, Floyd, Malvin, Gilbert, and Jimmy Warr, and is survived by her son Michael Blevins, his wife, Alicia Aaron, as well as 4 grandchildren, Cassie Zhahai Blevins Glover, Lede, Destin, and Simeon John Blevins plus 3 great grandchildren, Jennings Blevins, Jazzlyn and Brenleigh Glover and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1939 and later retired from Sidney Lanier High School in 1982 after serving in the school's office. Mary's long time passion was her membership and association with First Baptist Church of Montgomery totaling over 60 years.
